Post- Doctorate Opportunities at Sino-Canada Joint R&D Centre on Water and Environmental Safety

Sino-Canada Joint R&D Centre on Water and Environmental Safety (“The Centre”) invites applications from outstanding candidates for six Post-Doc positions in the broad area of eco-hydrology and environmental engineering. A research focus in one or more of the following areas would be of particular interest:
Remote Sensing and GIS
Climate Change and Eco-hydrology
Smart Monitoring system
Numeric Modelling for surface/ground water and urban system
Water/Wastewater Treatment Technology
River Restoration technology
The candidates are expected to have a good track record in publishing journal papers, strong experimental experiences and experiences in computer programming (preferable). The annual salary will be no less than 200K Chinese Yuan (equivalent to 31K USD) and the Nankai University will provide Post-Doc apartments（free of charge. Top kindergarten and Elementary school at Nankai will be available to children of the post-doc fellows.

Associate/Full Professor Opportunitiesat Sino-Canada Joint R&D Centre on Water and Environmental Safety

Sino-Canada Joint R&D Centre on Water and Environmental Safety (“The Centre”) invites applications from outstanding candidates for full-time faculty positions in the broad area of eco-hydrology and environmental engineering preferably including but not limited to remote Sensing and GIS watershedmanagement, climate change, environmental modeling, ecosystem restoration,wastewater treatment technology etc. Excellent English communication skills and a commitment to teaching are necessary. Individuals with relevant working experience are especially encouraged to apply.
Exceptionally qualified Associate Professor applicants will be provided an annual salary of approx. 200,000 – 300,000 RMB (~$32K-48K USD), a housing subsidy of 200,000 RMB and researching funding between 100,000 –200,000 RMB. Exceptionally qualified Full Professors will be provided an annual salary of approx. 300,000 – 400,000RMB (~$48K-64K USD), housing subsidyof 400,000 RMB, and research funding between 200,000 – 500,000 RMB among other supporting conditions. Sino-Canada Joint R&D Centre on Water and Environmental Safety (“The Centre”) invites applications from outstanding candidates for a full-time position as our Centre's Executive Assistant. The EA's job would be in charge of all administrative duties such as arranging travel for the director, the visiting professors, and others as needed; coordinating schedules, communications with departments in the University as well as representatives from the private sector and government; Chinese-English interpretation at events; Chinese-English written translations; assisting in report writing and grant writing, and project management among other duties.
We are seeking outstanding candidates from within China and abroad. Candidate must have excellent Mandarin Chinese and English skills.
